MISSION & VISION STATEMENT

The Islamic society of RCSI was established in 1999 by Muslim students that wanted to work together in a friendly, respectful, unified and open-minded multicultural environment by organizing activities that would bring about and facilitate these values.

Vision:

Our vision is Winning hearts & minds of the diverse student population regardless of their respective religion, race, ethnicity or nationality. Our vision is inspired from the verse in The Holy Qur’an:

“And He (Allah) has united their (Believers) hearts. If you had spent all that is in the earth, you could not have united their hearts, but Allah has united them: for He is Exalted in Might, All-wise” [Surah Al-Anfal 08:63]

Mission:

In order to fulfil our vision, we aim to uphold the principles and virtues of Islam, which includes catering for the needs and welfare of Muslim students in RCSI,to promote the awareness of Islam & Muslims in campus and to facilitate a harmonious society in which all students can live and co-operate with each other. In addition we aim to foster and improve relationships with other societies, students union and the college administration.
